Naturopathic Medicine is a unique approach to primary care that focuses on identifying and addressing the underlying causes of your health concerns or symptoms.

Treatment plans are personalized, but commonly include lifestyle changes such as dietary adjustments, improving sleep habits, stress management, and replenishing essential nutrients. Depending on your individual assessment, your plan may also involve the use of botanical remedies, pharmaceutical prescriptions, intravenous nutrient therapy and/or functional laboratory testing to help restore balance and promote overall wellness

IV Therapy

Intravenous Nutrient Therapy involves administering vitamins, minerals, and amino acids directly into the bloodstream, allowing them to be quickly absorbed by tissues and cells throughout the body. By bypassing the digestive system, this method ensures optimal absorption and effective replenishment of targeted nutrients at therapeutic doses.

IM Therapy

Intramuscular nutrient injections are administered directly into the muscle, offering an effective option for individuals looking to enhance the absorption and availability of specific nutrients in a quick and convenient visit.

Wellness Massage Therapy (Non-RMT)

If you need to recharge and melt away stress, wellness massage is for you. Not covered by insurance, but a powerful reset for mind and body.

Perfect for:
• Stress relief & nervous system balance.
• Emotional & mental well-being support
• Loosening up tight muscles & improving mobility
• Deep relaxation & whole-body restoration

This booking is for a private office wellness week. If you have not been instructed to book under this heading, please refer to our other offerings.

My name is Ryks (pronounced like bikes), I’m a term 5 massage therapy student at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in Victoria, BC.

Born and raised right here on the Canadian West Coast, I’ve long considered myself an enjoyer of our gorgeous countryside, from the beaches to the mountains and everything in between. I spend much of my outdoors time on foot, exploring local trails while I train for marathons. When I’m not outside I’m typically on the computer playing games, watching anime, writing, or playing Dungeons & Dragons with friends. Although I consider myself introverted, I love people, and as a queer person I feel a great sense of responsibility ensuring all feel welcome and accepted in my presence.

Therapeutically speaking, my preferred areas of practice are neurology, and orthopedic injury. As someone who experienced chronic pain growing up, I feel especially in-tune with the nervous system, and the ways in which we interact with it. I have a very thorough, clinical style and I love a medical mystery, but in my treatment room, the patient is always my first priority. No matter the complexity of the case, I make it a point that all of my patients are treated as fairly, and as effectively as possible; I’m always ready for a challenge. If you’re looking for a therapist with evidence-based solutions, who crafts every treatment plan with your comfort and success in mind, then we might just be a good fit.

I’m so glad you’re here! Life can throw a lot of challenges at us, and it can be really easy to become disconnected from our bodies for a myriad of reasons in the process. As a proud queer-identifying counsellor, I strive to co-create a safer space with everyone I work with so that you are invited to connect your mind and body in a way that feels good for you. Whether that re-connection with your body is through mindfulness and somatic experiencing or making moves towards ensuring your physical body feels more like your own, it would be privilege to support you in doing so.

I prioritize actively implementing anti-oppressive, trauma-informed, queer-affirming, feminist, and strengths-based perspectives. I also am training in and regularly weave aspects of modalities like Somatic Experiencing, Internal Family Systems, and Emotion-Focused Therapy into my work. Prior to my years of experience as a mental health counsellor, I spent six years in the field of academic research in both psychology and social work. This experience gave me a great window into the human mind and nervous system; including the incredible benefits re-connecting with our bodies can have.

As a registered social worker, I am also qualified to provide hormone and surgical readiness assessments that have been continually accepted by medical physicians as sufficient information to initiate folks on the next step in their gender-affirming healthcare.

When I’m not supporting folks on their mental health and gender identity journeys, you can expect to see me doing my impression of either an indoor or outdoor cat. When I feel like an indoor cat, I love to read, craft, rock climb, paint, and twirl around a roller rink. My outdoor cat side loves to paddle board, hike & backpack, camp, and spend time with my chosen family.

I’m so glad you’re here! Life can throw a lot of challenges at us, and it can be really easy to b... Read More
